Pawpaw

I just love how the pawpaw seed looks this year. That beautiful red color and large seed size. Trees coming up soon!

Chestnut cultivars

a mix of chestnuts from 3 different trees

While our website only offers the best of open pollenated cultivars for the midwest, making a decision about which trees to get can still be difficult. Your best option is to buy some of each, 3 different named cultivars is a good place to start because some trees may do better than others in your soil + climate context than others. Additionally, you will need multiple trees for pollination. For a more in depth description of cultivars, I suggest the University of Missouri resources on Chinese chestnuts.
